Position Title: Azure Cloud Architect

Location: Dallas, TX/Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Type: 6+ Month Contract

Role Summary

The Azure Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing systems, with a strong emphasis on integrating advanced AI capabilities into the existing technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert in the technology stack, including Azure cloud services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Java backend development, and MySQL database management. Lead the architecture, deployment, and optimization of these technologies to ensure seamless operations and scalability.
• System Integration: Demonstrate a deep understanding of how system components interact, ensuring cohesive integration across platforms. Architect solutions that successfully incorporate AI capabilities into the overall platform, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Solution Design: Design end-to-end cloud solutions, prioritizing reliability, security, and performance. Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and deployment strategies that support both current and future state requirements.
• Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. Ensure that all cloud solutions meet organizational standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with development, operations, and data science teams to drive cloud adoption and AI integration. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on architectural standards and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging Azure technologies, AI advancements, and industry trends. Proactively recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience architecting solutions in Azure, including AKS, Java backend, and MySQL databases.
• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certifications are strongly preferred.
• Skills: Expert knowledge of Azure services, Kubernetes, Java backend frameworks, and MySQL database design and optimization. Strong understanding of system integration and AI technologies.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve architecture and integration issues in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and toolchains (CI/CD, infrastructure as code).
• Knowledge of Google CES/Contact Center's is a plus.
