Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking an IT Program Manager-Business Transformation. You will support a portfolio of strategic initiatives that drive organizational efficiency and impact. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will oversee key project updates, monitor KPIs/KRIs, facilitate executive-level communications, and provide high-level support. This role is centered on continuous improvement and fostering an all-win approach to transformation.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a program roadmap aligned with leadership's vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to plan and execute project deliverables.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, maintaining a RAID log for efficiency.
  • Oversee program status for senior leadership and address high-priority escalations.
  • Apply project and program management methodologies to ensure portfolio success.
  • Create dashboards to evaluate stakeholder satisfaction and program quality.
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and contract renewals.
  • Organize town halls and team-building activities to strengthen collaboration.
  • Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate program insights.
  • Uphold the organization's values of Integrity, Caring, and Excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management (preferably in program management).
  • Strong understanding of project management disciplines, Agile preferred.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proven ability to support senior executives with high-quality executive communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Agile Certification (CSM or PMI-ACP).
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification.
  • Change Management Certification (Prosci).
  • Strong experience providing strategic advice and policy recommendations at a senior level.
  • Stakeholder engagement expertise in complex, high-profile initiatives.
  • Knowledge of software engineering disciplines.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certifications (LSSGB, LSSYB, LSSBB, LSS Champion)
