The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location.
Location: Barnstable, MA (Travel to Martha's Vineyard, MA)
Salary Range: $151,863.00 to $189,829.00
The Electrical High Voltage Sr. Manager will support Site Operations to implement the agreed site operations and maintenance strategy through the planning and execution operational activity across the wind farm ensuring safe, efficient operations that are in compliance with relevant statutory/legislative requirements and Company policies/procedures is achieved.
Responsible for ensuring that operational, safety switching, and electrical/mechanical isolation of HV & LV assets is performed in accordance with the clients Electrical Safety Rules.
Have the responsibilities for the inputs to the operation & maintenance management program, including preparation of relevant analysis' for cost benefit improvements and optimisations, service improvement analysis, service performance reviews, statutory inspections etc..
This will include the preparation as well as the inputs to budget and cost, including forecasts when required; reporting to relevant stakeholders in an agreed format, content and format and continuously seek to optimise availability in most cost effective and safe way.

Job Duties :
Taking a lead role in ensuring safety from the system on managed offshore transmission assets, including but not limited to:
- Preparing, issuing, and cancelling safety documents
- Carrying out switching, isolation and earthing duties
- Acting as Control Engineer
- Preparing switching schedules
- Delivering competent person training
- Managing the interface between transmission system boundaries with Generator and Offshore Control Center as required
- Producing and reviewing method statements and risk assessments
- Producing maintenance plans for HV equipment
- Management and/or delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance activities on electrical equipment.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- 8+ years of operation and commissioning experience within the field of high voltage electricity, offshore experience preferable
- Appropriate electrical qualification and background related to the authorization scope.
- Experience within onshore and offshore substations systems
- Complete and up to date GWO courses and HUET with CA-EB
- Senior Authorised Person at 220kv or above
- Electrical engineering working experience in a relevant industry, including detailed knowledge and understanding of maintenance programs and planning
- Must be flexible with regard to working patterns

- Communication & management skills
- Support the production and review of relevant procedures, processes and technical literature.
- Work with Original Equipment Manufacturers to resolve any technical issues arising.
- Coordinate with OFTO owner to ensure maximum availability of asset and coordination of any outages required.
- Influence port authorities to ensure that rules and regulations support efficient movement of vehicles/vessels involved in site operations.
Competency and skills to:
- Collate site and SCADA information to facilitate effective decision making in delivering fault identification and rectification
- Project manage offshore activities
- Lead an offshore team in the execution of the works.
Minimum Criteria:
- Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification, but proven working background in HV electricity
- Extensive knowledge and experience of working under HV Safety Rules
- Good knowledge of HV equipment including cables, transformers and switchgears (GIS and AIS)
- Experience of the offshore wind industry
- Working knowledge of US Health & Safety legislation
- Current (within last 12 months) experience working in a Senior Authorised Person or equivalent US designation at 220kv or above
- Experience of using Scada systems for the purpose of remote monitoring and interrogation of assets
- Experience of HV systems of 66 kV / 220kV or above and associated equipment and protection systems
Special Requirements :
- Working knowledge of US Health & Safety legislation
- LV & HV fault finding and analysis
- Previously Senior Authorised / Authorised Person with a Distribution or transmission Network Operator (DNO) or National Grid (evidence of previous authorisations required)
- Experience of working in multidiscipline teams
- GWO Training (desirable, however full training will be given)
