Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PC Support Specialist in Waukegan, IL focusing on warehouse and deployment activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT/Technology roles such as Service Desk, Desktop Support, Mobility, and Hardware Fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ticket Management: Handle and resolve tickets assigned through the ServiceNow ticket system.
  • Warehouse Operations: Fulfill warehouse requests, check in inventory, and manage shipping of IT hardware based on submitted requests.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and update SAP for received and deployed IT hardware.
  • Equipment Recovery: Retrieve computers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment from onsite locations. Coordinate with managers of offboarded employees to gather necessary information.
  • Remote User Support: Send out boxes and return FedEx labels for remote users. Process incoming returned equipment, ensuring compliance with data retention practices.
  • Peripheral Deployment: Set up and deploy computer peripherals, including monitors and other accessories.
  • Imaging Computers: Perform computer imaging tasks as required.

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in warehouse or stockroom activities and 2 years in computer support roles.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with MS Office 365 and associated applications. Familiarity with Incident Management Applications (ServiceNow, Remedy, ITSM) and SAP.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in a related field.
  • CompTIA A+ certification.

Nice to Have:
  • Associate Degree.
  • CompTIA A+ certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
