Fehr Graham is a fast-growing Midwest engineering environmental firm looking for a motivated IT Support Specialist.We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support to our employees across multiple office locations. This role will be a key part of our internal IT team-responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with system maintenance, and supporting a wide range of end-user technology needs.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with great communication skills, approachable, organized, and capable of handling multiple support requests while maintaining a positive attitude.

What You'll Do
  • Provide first-level technical support to employees in person, by phone, and through remote tools
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and mobile devices
  • Set up and configure new employee workstations, equipment, and user accounts
  • Support IT-related onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and track hardware/software usage
  • Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff or third-party vendors as needed
  • Maintain documentation for common support procedures and FAQs
  • Assist with routine system maintenance, updates, and patches
  • Provide support for video conferencing systems, Microsoft 365 tools, and VPN access
  • Travel to other office locations for hands-on support or equipment setup

What It Takes
  • 4+ years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking concepts
  • Familiarity with support ticketing systems and remote desktop tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel to regional offices
