Your Role:
Residing in the Life Science commercial organization and based in the Burlington, Massachusetts M Lab Collaboration Center, the Americas MSAT group is part of a worldwide Technical and Scientific Solutions (TSS) team of scientists and engineers that conducts biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up, and manufacturing support activities with our best-in-class product portfolio. We work closely with our customers and our colleagues across the globe to solve the toughest problems in Life Science.
In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic array of clinical and commercial scale customers through remote consultation and hands-on support to develop and implement robust and reproducible filtration-based separation processes for the purification of biopharmaceutical products. You will exercise deep analysis linked to strong fundamental understanding of the filtration-based unit operations. You will troubleshoot issues in development and manufacturing and develop and deliver technical training. Based on your experience and client interaction, you will provide "voice of customer" feedback to product development teams as to market direction and technology needs. Technologies within scope include clarification by depth filtration, aseptic filtration with sterilizing-grade membranes, and tangential flow filtration.
In addition, you will be expected to explore relevant bioprocessing topics through literature review, discussions with colleagues and industry experts, and augmented by your novel research experiments, and publish new or updated content communicating important concepts to our customer base. Travel up to 25%.
