Location: San Antiono, TX

Duration: 12 Months-Contract

100% Onsite

A Desktop Support Technician at would likely be responsible for providing first and second level support for IT systems and services. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and maintaining computer systems, printers, and network hardware, and providing support for a Microsoft Windows environment. The technician would also manage the ticketing system, resolve technical issues, and potentially recommend and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems for users.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Setting up, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, printers, and network hardware.
  • Help Desk Support: Providing first point of contact for IT support requests, often through a ticketing system.
  • User Support: Assisting users with various technical issues related to their computer systems and applications.
  • System Administration: Ensuring systems are functioning correctly and securely.
  • Vendor Management: Contacting service vendors for hardware repairs when necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintaining records of work performed and solutions implemented.
  • System Upgrades: Assisting with the implementation of system upgrades and new technologies.
