Join the Point-of-Sale Modernization team! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on a highly complex, cross-platform effort with varying technology solutions (infrastructure, software, middleware, etc.). You will partner with product owners, business systems analysts, and architecture and engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant, scalable technology solutions. The most suitable hire for this position will be a highly analytical candidate with software development, problem-solving, mentoring, writing, and presentation skills, including communicating effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business partners. The candidate will be hands-on with a team of software and quality assurance engineers that are responsible for developing, unit testing, debugging, supporting, and documenting the technical aspects of the technology solutions within the assigned product portfolio.?

Responsibilities:

• Participate in architecture and design discussions with cross-functional team members
• Work closely with Business Systems Analysts and IT management; assist Agile team members
• Create design artifacts such as user stories, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively convey product workflow architecture and user experiences to stakeholders
• Provide support and subject matter expertise on business rules and processes to the developers, test lead, and other team members during all project phases
• Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure requirements, design, and desired outcomes are clearly communicated and attend Agile events (daily stand-up, iteration planning, backlog refinement, iteration review, and sprint retrospectives)?
• Work in the development of project plans, management of projects, monitoring project performance, and development of implementation plans
• Provide after-hours support during the application deployment on an as needed basis.?
• Lead and participate in development activities and guide the team to improve code quality?

• Bachelor?s degree in computer science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience??
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications
• 3+ years of experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET/Core, C#
• 3+ years of experience with Data storage technologies (such as SQL server)??
• 3+ years of experience with Git code management, DevOps Integration, DevOps Pipelines, or other CI/CD tools
• 2+ years of enterprise-level Angular or REACT front-end experience
• Experience with Agile software development cycles

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 7+ years of experience with designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications
• 5+ years? experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs and Windows services
• 5+ years of experience with Git code management, DevOps Integration, DevOps Pipelines, or other CI/CD tools
• 5+ years of experience with Data storage technologies (such as SQL server and SQLite)??
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET Core, C#, Python, XML/JSON, XSLT, YAML, and PowerShell
• 4+ years of enterprise-level Angular front-end experience
• 2+ years of experience with Agile software development cycles
• Experience and knowledge of container-based applications in Docker
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging services such as MSMQ or Rabbit MQ
