Infrastructure Cloud Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:

We are building the next generation of cloud-native infrastructure to build a system that will have a positive impact in the intelligence community (IC). We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. If you have a passion for automation, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes, and you're excited to use the latest open-source tools, this is the role for you.

As a Senior Infrastructure Cloud engineer on our team, you will use your development experience to build, deploy, and manage a cloud agnostic platform for a multi-tenant environment. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless operation and deployment of cloud-native applications. You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or software engineering in a cloud environment
  • Experience in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, management, container orchestration, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm for Kubernetes, or Terragrunt
  • Experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems in the Cloud
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Knowledge of AWS services and how to integrate them with Kubernetes
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Rancher for Kubernetes management
  • Experience with Kubernetes Operators within Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience with application performance analysis and monitoring, including ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Experience with securing and hardening operating systems, applications, and containerized environments to ensure robust security and compliance across security enclaves
  • Experience in application management, with a focus on designing and implementing high-availability and resilient solutions, utilizing clustering, failover, and other advanced techniques to ensure seamless uptime and reliability
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree in a business field
  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
