Job Title: Lead Workday Financial Developer
Location: Remote
Duration : Long Term

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Workday Integrations Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain robust integrations between Workday and third-party finance systems. This is a critical role that blends strong technical Workday expertise with a deep understanding of financial modules and cloud integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations on the Workday platform with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Build and maintain custom APIs to integrate Workday with external systems.

  • Implement data transformation logic using Workday tools like calculated fields, business processes, and report definitions.

  • Ensure integration security through proper authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols.

  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for hosting and managing integrations.

  • Support production environments and participate in end-to-end SDLC for new projects.

  • Stay current with Workday updates and best practices for integration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience building enterprise-level integrations.

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience developing and testing Workday integrations.

  • Strong experience in Workday Financials including modules such as:

    • Financial Accounting

    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

    • Banking

    • General Ledger (GL)

  • Experience with Workday Studio and BIRT.

  • Minimum 3 years of full lifecycle Workday implementation experience.

  • Proficient in SOAP and RESTful web services.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

  • Good understanding of Workday s business object model and relationships.

  • Clean, maintainable code-writing practices.

  • Proven success in delivering solutions in production environments.

  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience leading multiple, competing priorities successfully.

  • Exposure to other integration platforms.

  • Familiarity with HR and Finance business processes.

  • Experience with:

    • Salesforce, ServiceNow, or other large enterprise systems.

    • Databases such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Hive, and Redis.
