Copywriter

We are seeking a creative and strategic Copywriter II to join our team and help shape messaging for global Japanese-speaking markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and drive impactful content solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement messaging strategies that align with campaign goals.
• Work closely with creative teams and stakeholders to create effective content solutions.
• Leverage research and data to enhance content performance and effectiveness.
• Create engaging copy for various media, including digital, social, broadcast, and print.
• Ensure brand voice consistency across all marketing channels and customer segments.
• Conduct quality checks on marketing materials for brand consistency and editorial standards.
• Participate in a hybrid work environment based in Seattle.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Japanese, technical writing, communications, or a related field.
• Over four years of experience in a creative team within an ad agency or corporate marketing department.
• Native fluency in Japanese, with multiple dialects being a plus.
• Proven experience in concepting and executing digital, social, and broadcast campaigns.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for communication and collaboration purposes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working as part of a global team with remote colleagues.
• Familiarity with the Japanese market and agile content development environments.
• Ability to drive best practices and innovate messaging strategies.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for collaboration with designers.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in Recruitment Marketing is advantageous.
