Propulsion Controls Engineering has a current opening for a Marine Electrician, with a minimum of two years of marine and/or shipyard experience, supporting our Aiea, Hawaii location. PCE is an approved and recognized ABR with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), working as both a prime contractor and subcontractor for government ship repair.


Job Summary - Marine Electrician:

Install, repair and connect equipment for all electrical services on the ship with minimal Supervision. Lay out, pull, lift and install cables and conduits with minimal Supervision. Prepare work area, drill holes, grind metal surfaces, and mount equipment with minimal Supervision. Test electrical equipment in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items with minimal Supervision. Perform other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Job Requirements and Experience - Marine Electrician:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
  • Some college, trade school, or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of marine and/or shipyard experience.

Per Diem is not paid for locations in Hawaii, California or Washington.
