Position: Scrum Master
Location: New York - ONSITE
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Scrum Master to guide and support our Agile teams in delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure Agile principles are followed to drive team efficiency and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach the team in Agile/Scrum practices and principles.
- Ensure the team remains focused on sprint goals and product delivery.
- Identify and remove blockers or impediments.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a well-prioritized backlog.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is a plus.
