Sr. Product Owner

Vaco is hiring an experienced Product Owner for a full-time opportunity.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Cincinnati, OH - 3x a week onsite and offering 2x a week work from home.
Please note, applicants should currently be local to Cincinnati, Ohio due to onsite work.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather feature requests, develop and maintain well planned backlog


• Coordinate the work to be allocated to sprints and scheduling releases


• Lead the appropriate teams to refine, prioritize and manage the backlog to best achieve the goals and vision


• Identify and estimate anticipated work efforts based on priority using program increment (PI) and sprint planning


• Define and resolve dependencies, issues and risks along with identification of impacted areas through team collaboration


• Oversee development stages, identify areas for improvement, refine the process and support the sprint


• Act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams

Additional Details:

• The Business Analyst/Product owner will need process analysis experience.


• This role will initially start off by mapping their pricing process for one of their divisions to develop requirements for automating the workflow of pulling down 3rd party pricing publications, routing it for approval, uploading to excel, and integrating to D365.


• Azure DevOps is used to house the user stories and features. Having hands on experience with Azure Devops (ADO) is required.
