About this Position:
Job Title: O365/OneDrive Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
1. Microsoft 365 Licensing and SSO Integration
  • Provision and assign the appropriate Microsoft 365 licenses (Business Premium, Exchange Plan 1/2) to users.

  • Configure and validate Single Sign-On (SSO) between Microsoft 365 and the Barracuda Cloud platform using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

  • Ensure federation and user authentication flow operates as expected across environments.

2. Active Directory Sync and Mail Routing
  • Configure and monitor Azure AD Connect for secure and consistent directory synchronization.

  • Perform AD cleanup and set UPN suffixes to match O365 domain configurations.

  • Implement and validate mail flow routing between on-premises and cloud-based mailboxes.

3. OneDrive Setup and User Data Migration
  • Review and document end-user file share sources and roaming profiles.

  • Use the Microsoft SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) to migrate user data from file shares to individual OneDrive accounts in a phased approach.

  • Validate data integrity and structure post-migration.

4. End-User Support and Client Tool Configuration
  • Assist users with installation, configuration, and use of Microsoft 365 desktop tools (Outlook, OneDrive Sync, Teams).

  • Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, sync errors, profile redirection, and storage.

  • Provide front-line support alongside the help desk during and after migrations.

5. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
  • Prepare user-facing guides and IT documentation covering OneDrive usage, sync configuration, and license assignment.

  • Contribute to the training team with content for virtual and onsite sessions.

  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with Agency IT staff.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including OneDrive for Business and Azure AD.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 admin portals, Azure AD Connect, and SharePoint Migration Tool.

  • Familiarity with Barracuda Cloud SSO or similar identity providers is preferred.

  • Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications (e.g., MS-102, AZ-104) desirable.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work directly with end users.
