Job Summary and Mission

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cybersecurity program manager to play a key role in shaping , managing, and owning all Cybersecurity program engagement, communications, and content efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication and engagement strategies to raise awareness,

educate, and engage internal stakeholders in Cybersecurity matters. A key focus will be on storytelling and visual content creation to effectively convey complex Cybersecurity concepts to a broad audience.

Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Communication Strategy - Develop and execute a strategic communication plan that aligns with cybersecurity objectives, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation.

Storytelling - Craft compelling narratives that make cybersecurity relatable and understandable for a wide audience. Translate technical jargon into easy-to-understand stories.

Visual Content Creation - Create engaging visual content such as infographics, videos, and graphics to support communication initiatives. Collaborate with graphic designers, illustrators, and video editors when necessary.

Content Management - Manage and maintain a library of communication materials, including articles, blogs, and other written content.

Stakeholder Engagement- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, management to ensure effective communication.

Event Coordination - Plan and coordinate cybersecurity events, town-halls, and ensuring successful execution and participation.

Collaborates with IT and business leadership on annual strategic planning for the program.

Monitoring and Evaluation - Implement metrics to assess the impact of communication efforts and adjust strategies based on data insights.

Team Collaboration - Work closely with the cybersecurity team, marketing, PA, and IT teams to ensure alignment and collaboration in communication efforts.

Summary of Experience

Experience as a senior project manager in technology or in a software development setting (3+ years)

Experience working in technology or in a software development setting (5+ years)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Minimum of three years' experience as a senior project manager in IT or a software development setting; must have at least five years overall experience in project management and communications.

Preferred Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A degree or certification in cybersecurity is a plus.

Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical details into compelling narratives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, threats, and best practices.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Understanding of data analytics and measurement of communication effectiveness.

Deep understanding of technology program and portfolio management practices.

Expert-level knowledge of standards and practices for technology project lifecycle management activities

and deliverables.

Proficiency in visual content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with video production/

editing.

Advanced skills in the MS Office Product Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated crisis communication experience is a plus.
