Summary :
RPA Process Architect with specialized experience in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Document Understanding, AI Center, and/or Test Manager. General experience in Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC), from functional and process design through deployment and support. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, Agile methodology expertise, and the ability to collaborate closely with clients and business process SMEs to design, develop, and optimize automation solutions. The RPA Process Architect will be responsible for leading RPA initiatives, managing development teams, owning the delivery timeline, and ensuring that solutions align with business goals while driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- RPA Solution Design & Architecture: Work with client owners to define process requirements, design end-to-end automation workflows, and recommend approaches for process mapping, scenario design, and scalability and efficiency of the automation solutions.
- RPA Implementation & Testing: Execute functional and integration test scripts, oversee the execution of end-to-end testing, and coordinate acceptance testing with end users.
- Agile Methodology: Manage full life cycle implementations using Agile Development Methodologies. Lead Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
- Collaboration with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with client and business process SMEs to gather, analyze, and refine automation requirements. Ensure management and traceability of all requirements within the Agile framework, driving alignment with business objectives.
- Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed process design documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and test materials (Test Scripts, Mock Data). Prepare training materials such as User Guides, Quick Reference Guides, and new-user training scenarios.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Facilitate UAT with client SMEs, ensuring that test scenarios are aligned with business processes. Lead the creation of test materials and assist in executing UAT to verify the success of automation solutions.
- Training & Mentorship: Prepare and deliver training to end users, ensuring they are equipped to interact with the automation solutions. Provide ongoing mentorship to junior team members on RPA best practices and tools.
- Integration with Enterprise Applications: Architect RPA solutions that integrate with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, and Microsoft tools (Excel, Visio, Access, Word). Ensure seamless data flow and system compatibility.
- Continuous Improvement & Issue Resolution: Continuously evaluate the performance of RPA solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization. Provide troubleshooting support, resolve technical issues, and ensure high-performing automation solutions.
Skills/Technical Expertise
Required
- Minimum 1+ years of specialized experience in UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and/or Blue Prism.
- Experience with end-to-end testing and coordinating UAT with product owners.
- Ability to coach clients through the RPA development delivery cycle -- listen to and understand their goals for the process, make recommendations based on constraints, and provide clear justification for the recommended approach.
- Ability to switch between self-directed and collaborative team work --
- Understand developer skillsets and assign tasks accordingly
- Manage own workload designing 2-3 process architectures in parallel (6-8 week delivery timelines typical)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Comfort escalating issues quickly and early.
- Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field.
- ship (required for security clearance eligibility).
Preferred
- Experience integrating RPA with enterprise applications such as: SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Office 365.
- UiPath Certified Professional Automation Business Analyst Associate
- Agile Certification (SaFE).
- Expertise in issue resolution and troubleshooting for RPA processes.
- Public Trust Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
