Shift:
3rd Shift - Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Rate: $28-$35/hour + $4/hour night shift differential
Sign-On Bonus: $12,000, paid in two installments (after 3 and 6 months)

Position Overview:
This is a hands-on technician role that goes beyond routine maintenance. The position includes project-based responsibilities supporting production operations, troubleshooting automation systems, and driving operational efficiency.
Key Technical Requirements:
Strong experience with PLC hardware and software
PLC program modification and troubleshooting
Hands-on expertise with Allen-Bradley or Rockwell Automation systems
Proficiency in Ladder Logic Programming
Troubleshooting of widget systems
Required: Experience with ControlNet and DeviceNet
Preferred: Knowledge of Ethernet/IP
Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
Education:
Preferred: Associate degree in Electronics or Automation Controls
Will consider candidates with a high school diploma and 4-5+ years of relevant hands-on experience
Additional Note:
The anticipated hourly range for this role is $29.13 to $38.99. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
Required Education:
Associate degree in electronics or automation controls required, or 4 years of comparable experience.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Carry, lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Must have experience in Allen-Bradley or Ladder Logic Programming.
Ability to work 3rd shift, 10:30 pm -6:30 am.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred
Automation Technician Overview:
The Automation Technician acts as a technical resource to our teams to ensure they have the proper support needed to perform their daily tasks. The individual selected for this role will be assigned to the 3rd shift (Sundays through Thursdays, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM). This person is also expected to provide weekend on-call coverage for the plant as part of the shared rotation schedule.
Job Duties:
Develops experimental designs and work plans in the creation of prototype products to meet desired performance metrics.
Ensure all production equipment is safely functioning at its highest efficiency by resolving downtime issues, improving performance, and reducing scrap.
Perform electrical/control-based preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
Provide leadership/facilitation in troubleshooting by utilizing automation programming software packages.
Utilize knowledge of machine controls to train operators and maintenance on basic operation and troubleshooting of equipment.
Complete controls and electrical work orders as assigned.
