Overview
- Architect, manage, and support complex, mission-critical SAP landscapes.
- Lead technical strategies and lifecycle administration.
- Ensure high system availability, performance, scalability, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate globally and drive continuous improvements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer and support SAP systems: S/4HANA, BTP, PI/PO, Datasphere, SAC, and other SaaS platforms.
- Perform installations, configurations, upgrades, system refreshes, and performance tuning.
- Configure and monitor SSL, SSO, and Cloud ALM alerts.
- Provide SAP BTP support, including CPI and API Management.
- Collaborate during development, QA, UAT, cutovers, and hypercare phases.
- Utilize SAP OpenText Suite tools like xECM, VIM, OCR for archiving.
- Administer NetWeaver (ABAP & Java), SOA Manager, ChaRM, and Redwood RunMyJobs.
- Configure SAP Web Dispatcher, load balancers, and SAP Cloud Connectors.
- Follow change management best practices via ServiceNow, QGM, and CTMS.
- Contribute to SAP CALM and Splunk-based alert/change management.
- Assist with sizing, documentation, and cloud migration readiness.
- Support capacity planning, KPI reporting, and audit compliance.
- Participate in 24x7 support rotations and collaborate with global teams.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of SAP Basis administration experience.
- Deep expertise in S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and SAP BTP.
- Strong proficiency in SAP HANA database performance and monitoring.
- Experience with SAP OS/DB migrations (certification preferred).
- Familiar with managing hybrid SAP environments (cloud/on-premise).
- Exposure to SAP SaaS solutions: SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur.
- Solid knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, SSL certs).
- Comfortable in Linux, AIX, and Windows environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
- Experience in greenfield/brownfield SAP implementations.
- Ability to work across time zones with global teams.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on with SAP HANA DB 2.0 admin tools: XS Admin, Web IDE, HANA Studio, SDA.
- Experience with IAS, SAML2, and advanced authentication protocols.
- Familiarity with SAP CALM (Change & Alert Lifecycle Management).
- Experience with Early Watch Reporting and Solution Manager integrations.
