If you are a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and are looking for your next contract role, this California position could be for you!


Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering customized instruction
  • Developing language skills
  • Conducting assessments
  • Advocating for students with hearing loss


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Deaf Education or a related field
  • Active California Teaching Licensure
  • Sign language proficiency
  • At least one year of experience is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a School setting
  • Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills


Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in a School setting
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
