Job Details

Job Title: Java Backend Developer (Ex-Walmart Only)
Location: Onsite Sunnyvale, CA or Bentonville, AR (3 days/week)
Type: Long-term Contract
Eligibility: Must be a former Walmart employee

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
* Build RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend and mobile applications
* Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
* Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
* Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

Required Skills:
* Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
* Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
* Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, or other messaging/streaming systems
* Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
* Prior experience at Walmart is mandatory
