REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
seeking a skilled Looker deveoper to design and maintain business intelligence solutions, transforming data into actionable insights through dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop LookML models, explores, views, and dimensions to meet business analytics needs
- Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders
- Optimize query performance and implement PDTs for faster dashboard loading
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Establish coding standards, maintain documentation, and enforce data governance practices
- Integrate Looker with various data sources including cloud data warehouses and databases
- Provide user training and ongoing support for the Looker platform
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Looker and LookML development experience
- Strong SQL proficiency and database knowledge
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Looker certification
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools
- Knowledge of Python or R
- Background with other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
