Role Description:

The Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions, working across multiple platforms, and supporting business-critical applications. The role requires hands-on expertise in programming, system administration, and middleware, ensuring smooth application deployment, integration, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL and related technologies.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution on AIX and Linux environments.
Write and optimize scripts/programs using Python for automation and application support.
Support System i COBOL400 applications and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
Execute deployments, upgrades, and fixes in line with organizational standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements.
Ensure adherence to IT best practices, including security, compliance, and operational excellence.
