Job Title: Workday Security Analyst

6 months + contract
100% remote work

Job Summary

The Workday Security professional is responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting security access within the Workday platform. This role ensures that users have appropriate access to data and functionality while maintaining compliance with company policies, data privacy regulations, and audit requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain Workday security roles, including:
    • Domain Security Policies
    • Business Process Security Policies
    • Role-based, user-based, and segment-based security
  • Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning (hire, transfer, termination).
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to understand access needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues and access requests.
  • Support Workday business process framework security configuration.
  • Perform regular security audits and access reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and internal control requirements.
  • Document security configurations and changes.
  • Support Workday releases and updates by validating security impacts.
  • Assist with integrations security, including ISU (Integration System User) setup.
