Job Description

Basic Function

As Cloud Architect - Enterprise you will drive world-class cloud solutions based on the AWS & Azure platform to accelerate the delivery of our customer facing expert solutions and improve the reliability & security of our applications. You will take a lead role in defining and promoting the architecture direction and governance for Cloud strategy and initiatives. You will be challenged to find approaches that enable rapid adoption of new cloud services and drive transformation for our business and IT processes and will act as a liaison and consultant on best practices, principles and processes required to leverage best in class cloud capabilities and technologies. You will need exceptional influencing and reasoning skills, communication skills and the ability to engage with and influence technical teams & executives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Guide Strategic Thought

• Partner in developing a transformative approach to design high availability architectures and build customer and employee experiences of the future.
• Find gaps in Infrastructure architecture and translate them into opportunities, with a roadmap to attain strategic outcomes.
• Drive roadmaps toward a future/target state architecture.
• Evaluate and identify new tools and technology to improve management & operability the Cloud infrastructure,
• Define Infrastructure standards consistent with best practices and create roadmaps for implementation.
• Partner with senior business & technology stakeholders to understand business outcomes and create capability maturity-led technology investment outcomes, and influence decision making.

Guide Transformation

• Solve complex design issues and resolve technological disagreements with informed solution patterns.
• Contribute to Enterprise architecture policies and guidelines.
• Partner with other technology teams & vendors to foster innovative thinking and drive Solutions & PoCs to experiment with disruptive technologies like AI & ML.
• Guide the strategic transformation initiatives like adoption of IaC, automation of deployment & management of applications and Infrastructure, implementation of least privilege, adoption of PaaS services.
• Lead architecture cross-functionally on strategic initiatives while building strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Balance governance with agility to drive faster time to market.
• Identify Enterprise-level Optimization efforts and counsel on such efforts for the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Must Have Skills:

Education:

• Preferred: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Experience:

• Experience in IT,
• Experience in cloud architecture.
• Advanced certifications in both Azure and AWS (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional).
• Experience in guiding Architecture strategy to align company priorities with technology outcomes and define target state architectures with roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of Azure and AWS capabilities and best practices.
• Strong and deep technical expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, driving a culture of continuous integration and deployment.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
• Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, always-available service model.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and, preferably, strong technical background in software development, with hands-on experience in designing and building service oriented / microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
• Understand the significant industry shifts taking place in the current landscape, and be able to design forward-thinking, innovative, and impactful solutions.
• Experience working with external cloud-vendors.
