Job Details
A client of Sharp Decisions if looking for a System Administrator. This role is HYBRID in Marysville, OH- a multi-year contract with no end date, W2 only.
Daily Task Performed:
- Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Responsible for trouble shooting problems as reported by users
- Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products
- Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment
- Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth
- Defines procedures for monitoring and evaluates, diagnoses and establishes work plan to resolve system issues
- Performs troubleshooting for complex hardware, software and network problems
Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS'
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Basic knowledge of management systems
- Basic knowledge of evaluation installation/configuration of computer systems
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and Intune, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Basic knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Basic ability to provide system hardware and software capacity planning
- Microsoft 365 client troubleshooting skills
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft OS knowledge
- Knowledge of Java and Java Ruleset
