VISA: , GC-EAD, -EAD ONLY

RATE: $55/HR ON 1099

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of tactical quality assurance activities by designing manual and automated testing processes, test plans, and test cases.
  • Perform multiple types of testing-system, functional, regression, integration, and usability-manually and using test automation tools.
  • Support business users in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and participate in technical and functional specification reviews.
  • Maintain detailed records of test discrepancies using designated QA tools and communicate findings to the development team for resolution.
  • Provide regular testing status updates to project management and key stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive software testing frameworks and organize testing activities for new and existing product releases.
  • Collaborate with QA Leads, Project Managers, Development Managers, System Administrators, Architects, and DBAs to ensure testing alignment and quality standards.
  • Lead the design and execution of functional, system, regression, load, integration, and performance test scenarios.
  • Work closely with Development Leads and Business Analysts to create and manage test data that drives test scenarios.
  • Execute test runs for assigned projects, monitor progress, manage defect resolution, and oversee issue management and risk assessments.
  • Define and drive process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and overall software quality.
  • Play a strategic role in designing and implementing the organization's overall Quality Assurance program.
  • Maintain the overall quality of project deliverables and supervise all phases of the testing lifecycle.
  • Lead the development of test strategies, environment setup, and test data management.
  • Ensure adherence to industry QA standards, best practices, and tools across the organization.
  • Provide leadership in hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating QA team members for project performance.
  • Implement quality processes supporting development and production change management workflows.
  • Manage end-to-end processes for logging, tracking, and communicating test discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and QA methodologies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with developers, project/release managers, system administrators, business analysts, and database administrators for cross-functional delivery.
  • Solid background in application design and programming, with a comprehensive understanding of SDLC processes and traceability matrices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with broad knowledge of supported applications and business processes.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in quality assurance for diverse applications, web platforms, reporting, and analytics solutions.
  • Expert in QA methodologies, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, perform risk assessments, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of all development lifecycle phases, from requirements and design to integration and testing.
  • Proficient in test automation tools (UFT, LoadRunner) and test management tools (ALM, JIRA, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated leadership in mentoring and guiding QA engineering teams.
