As a Principal Product Engineer on the Training and Resource Solutions (TRS) team, you will lead product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle of the Westinghouse Training products and services, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and market intelligence, supporting development of product strategies, and providing key support to the Westinghouse Training & Resource Solutions Regional Growth Centers, Sales & Global Markets. You will be expected to work closely with the global Product Managers, Business Units, GECS, D&I, account teams and marketing. You will report to the Director of TRS Product Management and Growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow the Training Solutions products and services
  • Assess & analyze the market & competitive landscapes and ensure VoC is captured in the product development lifecycle
  • Lead product strategies & roadmaps to grow WEC market share
  • Lead development of product heatmaps & guide demand creation priorities
  • Support account, sales & tendering teams to develop leads and opportunities
  • Support BUs, account, & sales teams (including LTO teams) to develop sales talking points and presentations
  • Oversee the product lifecycle management & support new product introduction (NPI) projects to meet business case goals
  • Support delivery P&L to establish tendering processes & tools
  • Be a consultant to tendering team for technical clarification, product pricing strategy, and WEC value proposition with customer
  • Work directly with customers for demand creation in coordination with other front-line teams
  • Collaborate across the LTO organizations to align and lead consistent priorities
  • Support Sales Pacing preparation with TRS Regional Centers, Global Markets & BU Sales to report OE metrics, risks, and opportunities
  • Provide oversight and potentially lead Training innovation projects

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or business management, information technology or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, engineering, project management, strategy, or customer solutions engineering

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $103,200.00 to $129,000.00 per year.
