Senior Database Administrator (On Site)

M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Administrator (On Site) to work on a government contract for a client located in San Diego, CA. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deploy and maintain new database configurations in a rapid development environment.
• Support large, complex systems capable of ingesting large amounts of data.
• This position may require business travel in support of customer meetings and operational system deployment and support activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical discipline.
• 8+ years of database development and administration experience across the entire development lifecycle.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database Administrator activities.
• Strong experience with Oracle RAC 19c.
• Strong experience with Oracle RMAN and equivalent Backup and Restore processes.
• Strong experience with Oracle installation, patching, and updating processes.
• Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle Dataguard.
• Competency in UNIX shell programming.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with database design and development processes.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Label Security and Oracle Identity Management.
• Basic understanding of UNIX system administration.
• Experience with other RDBMS and noSQL platforms (e.g., HDFS, Postgres, MongoDB, AllegroGraph, NoSQL, RDF, and/or SPARQL).
• Experience with Jira and GitLab.

$60,000 - $180,000 USD
