Role: Scrum Master
Location: Seattle, WA Hybrid
Qualifications:
4-7 years of experience in agile development, including agile methodologies coaching.
Experience with API/UI and Rest services, iOS/Web Apps, and commerce/selling experience.
Extensive IT knowledge, including strategies, methodologies, architectures, and standards.
Proven leadership in achieving successful project outcomes.
Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Gitlab, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate self-organization and self-management among teams, ensuring progress towards goals.
Organize and lead daily stand-ups, reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum-related meetings.
Collaborate with IT partners to support development and software delivery.
Assist Product Owners in user story creation, prioritization, and product backlog grooming.
Identify and address impediments; make issues visible and escalate when necessary.
Ensure efficient progress towards sprint goals with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum tools and practices at a sustainable pace.
Ensure adherence to agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, and visibility.
Coordinate cross-functional teams early and often.
Recommend improvements and assist in adopting best practices.
Manage and resolve project issues, and mitigate risks in real time.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, capable of operating under high-pressure scenarios within tight deadlines.
Stay aware of Agile and DevOps technology practices.
Analyze project challenges and proactively define alternatives.
Maintain high system availability in a 24/7 support role, including onshore/offshore models.
Preferred Experience:
Working with teams that support frontline and business partner experiences.
Knowledge of IT operations in an always-available service environment.
