Oracle Fusion Financials Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (ERP) . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, and Procurement modules , with a strong background in system architecture, integrations, and best practices. This role requires a balance of technical and functional expertise , ensuring seamless alignment with the organization's financial processes and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture

• Define and oversee the end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials architecture , ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic guidance on ERP financial workflows , chart of accounts design, multi-ledger, multi-currency, and multi-entity configurations.
• Ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to translate functional financial requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
• Recommend best practices for automating financial processes , including payables, receivables, fixed assets, and cash management.

Implementation & Integration

• Lead the end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud implementation , from planning to post-go-live support.
• Define and oversee integration strategies with third-party financial systems, banks, tax engines, and payment gateways using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and middleware .
• Ensure seamless data migration of historical financial transactions using FBDI, ADFdi, and Oracle Data Management tools .
• Identify and mitigate risks related to financial system integrations and compliance.

Technical Leadership & Governance

• Establish governance frameworks to ensure financial data integrity, access controls, and audit readiness in Oracle Fusion.
• Provide technical leadership to ERP consultants, developers, and analysts working on Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Lead solution reviews, system performance assessments, and security audits to ensure SOX compliance .
• Oversee the customization of financial reports and dashboards using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) .

Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous enhancements in Oracle Fusion Financials to improve financial close, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
• Optimize workflows related to AP automation, cash flow forecasting, tax calculations, and intercompany transactions .
• Stay updated on Oracle Cloud Financials updates, patches, and new features , advising stakeholders on adoption strategies.
• Implement cost management and expense control measures within Oracle Fusion ERP.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Financials ERP , with at least 5+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials .
• Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Tax modules .
• Strong experience with multi-ledger, multi-currency, intercompany accounting, and financial consolidation in Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware .
• Knowledge of financial reporting and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Smart View .
• Strong understanding of financial security, SOX compliance, and audit controls within Oracle Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, and DevOps practices in an Oracle ERP environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work closely with finance and IT teams.
• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Financials Certified Architect, Oracle Fusion ERP Specialist ) are a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience leading large-scale Oracle Fusion Financials implementations .
• Background in multi-entity and multi-country financial system rollouts .
• Knowledge of third-party banking integrations, expense management tools, and tax automation platforms .
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies .
