C2M Application Analyst (Middleware)

What are the must-have skills? Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Overall 5+ years of experience in implementing/supporting for Oracle Utilities (C2M, CC&B, MDM, etc) or other Oracle solutions desired.
• Strong product knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (C2M, CC&B, MDM) and/or other Oracle applications/platforms including design, development, configuration, and enhancements.
• Strong product knowledge of Oracle WebLogic 12c, installing, configuring, troubleshooting. 
• Hands on experience in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) desired
• Hands on experience in C2M, CC&B, and MDM and/or other Oracle solutions in the last 3 years desired.
• Comprehensive knowledge of information technology with an extensive understanding of application development technologies and methodologies. 
• Good understanding of Oracle MDM and CC&B Data Models.
• Experience with integrating with Oracle Cloud desired. (OCI, CX, SOA)
• Experience with configuring OEM and other monitoring tools for CC&B/MDM a plus. 
• Ability to capture the configurations required for the product and create a configuration document for the developers.
• Ability to design the forms, workflows, and portlets, integration with the required systems
• Ability to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting.
• Demonstrated consulting skills, initiative to influence change, proactive thinker.
• The individual will need to be able to function in a fast-paced changing environment, manage changing priorities, be responsive, dependable, and discerning when supporting the business and coworkers.  
• The individual must multi-task efficiently, manage projects, work independently with little supervision, and keep assignments organized by planning their work and meeting project deadlines.
• Knowledge of DevOps (mycelium EDMS, Azure DevOps, GitHub), and API design management is desirable.
• Knowledge of scripting in languages like Groovy or Java is desirable.
• Experience in managing multiple small projects and initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

What are the nice to have skills?     

• Strong experience in Oracle Utilities products like CC&B, MDM, C2M (CC&B/MDM) or other Oracle application/platforms
• Strong experience in Oracle WebLogic in large environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps and API design management is desirable.

What does the day to day look like? A typical day will generally start with getting organized with tasks for the day, checking Jira for any outstanding action items – maybe a quick team standup meeting.  Also will be checking the incident/problem queue in our ticketing system to see if any new issues or requests came in.  Then the rest of the day is spent attending project meetings, installing, configuring, tuning WebLogic, Installing, configuring C2M and its components.  During this process the documentation will be used and followed – and if there are any gaps – time should be spent updating that documentation.  If any issues come up – then time is spent helping to triage the issue, its impacts, whether additional resources are needed to help resolve the issue, and then helping to get the issue resolved.  If the issue has a high enough impact, then some root cause analysis activities can occur and any needed fix actions developed to help prevent the issue from re-occurring again. 
How will the contractor be using their technical skills? This contractor will use their verbal, written, and team work skills to interact with project team members and stake holders.  They will also use their depth of knowledge of the WebLogic platform and/or Oracle Applications to understand the tasks being requested of them to be able to implement and support.  For issues – the contractor will use their problem solving skills to help triage, identify, and resolve the issues – and could possibly need the ability to step back and look at the issue holistically to determine if additional resources are needed to help resolve the issue.  Then they would engage their verbal and teamwork skills to pull in the right resources and/or engage their direct supervisor/manager to escalate appropriately. 

The hourly pay range for this position is $45 to $70/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
