Title : Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
Location : Denver CO / Nashville TN

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong experience in AI/ML-based projects to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will gather and translate business requirements into actionable insights and documentation to support data science, machine learning, and AI-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business objectives and translate them into technical requirements for AI/ML solutions.
- Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Product Owners to align models with business goals.
- Document and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and data mapping documents.
- Participate in model evaluation sessions and help interpret outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis, gap analysis, and assist in identifying key data sources relevant to AI models.
- Ensure all AI/ML implementations align with compliance, security, and data governance standards.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a BSA or Functional Analyst, including 2+ years in AI/ML or data analytics projects.
- Strong understanding of machine learning workflows, data pipelines, and model deployment
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (classification, regression, NLP, etc.) and ability to explain them to business users.
- Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, or Visio.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to perform basic data validation and queries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology and experience in a product-driven environment.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools is an added advantage.
