Job Details
Title: Electro/Mechanical Technician / Prototype Lab
Industry: Military Vehicles / DOD
Location: Maple Grove, MN 55369
Pay/Duration: 35.10 / 6 months plus contract to hire
Works from and reads engineering drawings, sketches, models, samples, and verbal instructions.
Fabricates and builds parts, assemblies, shop aids and templates from a variety of materials.
Uses hand tools and hand power tools.
Sets up and operates equipment for: shearing, sawing, routing, punching, drilling, forming, rolling, and grinding.
Operates forklift, jib cranes and hoists.
Travels as required to off-site testing locations.
Supports diagnosis/troubleshooting, and repair of customer assets at various test sites as well as acting lead technician for off-site customer support.
