Job Details



Required Skills:



  • Must have at least 5 or more years experience as a Windows Server Engineer in an enterprise organization

  • Experience performing vulnerability remediation including reviewing the scan results, developing, and implementing fixes, etc.

  • Should be skilled in PowerShell scripting and automation

  • Experience with Active Directory GPO, experience rolling out and modifying GPOs down to the sub level

  • Experience performing server hardening following CIS and/or STIGs

  • Strong knowledge of best practices surrounding Change Management and Release Management




Desired Skills:



  • Strongly desire someone with experience implementing STIGs or CIS standards

  • Experience with SCCM and SCOM

  • Experience with Tenable Nessus and ServiceNow's Security Operations Module (Vulnerability Response) preferred

  • Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management

  • Experience with audit requirements relative to multiple government agencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or Security




Description of Role/Responsibilities:


We are seeking a Sr. Windows Server Engineer who has a passion around vulnerability management and experience implementing STIGs. This company has implemented STIGs across an enterprise organization's subsidiaries. This person should be experienced in server hardening best practices, rolling out GPOs, vulnerability scans, developing fixes, implementing those fixes, rolling out O/S sub level step by step and scripting with PowerShell. This person should know how to follow enterprise change and release management best practices and be able to work across infrastructure and information security teams to meet project deadlines. This is a great role for someone who wants to be able to focus on vulnerability remediation, patching, audit and compliance work versus server builds and day to day production support.
