Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Epic Client Systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Design, develop, and customize MyChart web applications, including patient portal enhancements and user interface improvements.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for MyChart-related issues, ensuring seamless user experiences for patients and providers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MyChart with other Epic modules and third-party systems, ensuring interoperability and data consistency.
  • Configure and optimize MyChart features such as patient messaging, appointment scheduling, and telehealth capabilities.
  • Develop training materials and guide clinicians and administrative staff on MyChart functionality.
  • Ensure MyChart and Epic systems comply with HIPAA and other healthcare standards, implementing robust security measures.
  • Lead or contribute to MyChart-related projects, including upgrades, new feature rollouts, and system enhancements.
Skills:
  • Expertise in Epic MyChart web development and customization.
  • Strong Epic system administration skills, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Epic modules such as Ambulatory, Inpatient, or Cadence is a plus.
  • Proficiency in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for MyChart customization.
  • Experience with Epic Interconnect, Web Services, and system interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
  • Database management experience (SQL, Cache).
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Epic ECSA or similar role.
  • Proven experience in MyChart web development, system support, and integration.
Qualification and Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
  • Epic ECSA certification required.
  • Epic MyChart certification strongly preferred.
