RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Marlborough, MA that is seeking a motivated Senior Software/Test Automation Engineer to help deliver the next generation of advanced communication systems.
Summary:
In this role, you'll work closely with product design, systems, and software teams to convert module requirements into Qualification and Certification Test Scripts. You'll design, automate, and execute test plans to ensure systems meet performance standards and are ready for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Review system requirements for accuracy, clarity, and testability
* Develop, automate, and document test plans and procedures using Python
* Conduct system-level testing and analyze results to verify compliance
* Design new test strategies and enhance existing processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Hardware, Software, and Systems engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of related software/test automation experience
* Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP
* Strong knowledge of Linux operating system
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
* Hands-on coding skills with Python, C++ or related programming language
* Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
