Program Control Analyst (Financial Operations)
Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (On-site)Great opportunity for a Program Control Analyst who can support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for government contracts. You'll collaborate with finance and program teams to ensure budgets are accurate and compliant with federal guidelines.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong Excel skills and a background in accounting or finance.
Purpose of the Position:
The Program Control Analyst supports complex programs through collaboration with department leadership, providing accurate and timely financial data to ensure excellent service delivery. This role may involve mentoring junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare billing data to support invoicing aligned with government guidelines.
- Review purchase requisitions for budget availability and compliance.
- Maintain budgets within financial and program management systems.
- Generate internal and external cost/schedule and variance reports.
- Conduct Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Complete (EAC) analyses.
- Assist in cost proposals and pricing volumes per FAR, CAS, and GAAP standards.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
- Participate in EVMS re-baselines and KPI tracking.
- Support special projects and pricing exercises.
- Assist with training new team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business, accounting, or finance, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience; audit background preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Windows applications (Word, etc.).
- Understanding of accounting principles and government compliance (FAR/CAS).
