We are hiring a Software Test Engineer for one of our trusted clients in the automotive and embedded systems space. This role will place you at the core of product quality leadership, collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance in both hardware and software.
Core Responsibilities-
Lead and mentor a team of test engineers to implement industry-grade QA strategies.

Design and execute comprehensive test plans for embedded hardware/software systems.

Champion the use of automated test frameworks and drive continuous testing improvements.

Collaborate across teams (hardware, software, product) to define test requirements and success metrics.

Track and manage defect lifecycles; perform root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups).

Maintain clear, current test documentation (test cases, results, bug reports).

Promote the integration of modern testing trends and technologies in embedded systems.

5+ years of embedded systems QA (hardware + software).

Proficient in C/C++, RTOS, and Linux tools/environment.

Hands-on experience with automated test tools (e.g., Gtest, Pytest).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and defect tracking systems.

Working knowledge of protocols: I2C, SPI, UART.

Excellent debugging, analytical, and root cause identification skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership communication skills.

Security certifications: OSCP, CISSP, SANS/GIAC, etc.

Experience in regulatory domains: ISO/SAE 21434, HIPAA, OWASP, NIST, etc.

Domain exposure in: automotive, defense, intelligence, law enforcement, manufacturing.

Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, or related.

Japanese fluency (spoken, written, technical communication).
