Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in working in Development roles
• JAVA development/DevOPS experience (6+ years)
• Spring boot, micro services development with related DevOPS experience (Docker, Kubernetes, ELK/EFK, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with AWS services preferred.
• Full stack developers are preferred.

Position Overview

• Client is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java backend development, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and resilient applications that power our core business services.
• This role requires proficiency in backend technologies alongside solid frontend skills to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Build scalable, secure, and efficient RESTful APIs that integrate with various frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Implement database schemas and optimize queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to continuous improvement of the microservices ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain automated tests including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure product quality.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployments, monitor system health, and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the technology stack.
• Follow Agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-ups.
• Document technical designs, API specifications, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java SE/EE and core Java concepts.
• Extensive experience (5+) with Spring Boot framework and building microservices.
• Solid understanding of REST API design principles, security, and best practices.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks like React or Angular.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and related services.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of API Gateway and service mesh technologies.
• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Note:
Pay Range: $55 - $65/HR

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
