Scope/Activities:
- Assist with hardware template selection, server platform support, and root cause analysis.
- Implement automation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Support Linux/Kubernetes environments and related technologies.
- Provide technical expertise in areas such as Linux, cloud orchestration, networking, security, and automation tools.
Goal and Objectives:
- Resource will assist in development of programming solutions that comply with
- Support for Kubernetes within the Hybrid Cross Cloud Automation Service framework.
- Automation, monitoring, and reporting .
- API development for automation and reporting.
- Support for Linux/Kubernetes environments, especially for orchestration.
- Assist with hardware template selection, server platform support, and root cause analysis.
Scope/Activities & Tasks:
Pfizer has requested a resource to complete the following in support of development within the Hybrid Cross Cloud Automation framework:
- Assist with x86 hardware templates (Job Aids) by selecting models, specifying options, and creating, publishing, and maintaining new and existing templates.
- Research and track down support issues as related to the server platform and provide root cause analysis and project team learnings.
- Architecture and implementation for any migration strategies that need to be performed.
- Participate in Linux/Kubernetes operations using Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms.
- Support for Linux/Kubernetes environments and associated technologies.
- Provide technical expertise in areas such as Linux, cloud orchestration, networking, security, and automation tools.
- Support DBA for limited container migration issues as related to solution technology.
- Provide technical expertise and support for development and operations.
Technical Skillsets Required:
- Systems: Linux (Red Hat SUSE)
- Container Engines/Orchestrators: Kubernetes, Docker, VMware vRealize
- Languages: Java, PHP, Bash, SQL, HTML, CSS
- Networking: SSH, SFTP, VPN, X11 Forwarding, Public Key Trust, TCP/IP, DNS
- Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, Amazon Web Services
- Security: Identity, Access, Directory, Audit, and Direct Authorize
- Architecture and implementation for any migration strategies that need to be performed.
