Job Description:
IT Assets and Procurement Technician

Location: Sears/Willis Tower, Chicago, IL and able to commute to Lisle, IL

Pay Rate: $35/hour

Employment Type: 6-month Contract -> Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Assets and Procurement Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering top-tier technical support to executive leadership
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Deliver C-Suite, white glove support for executives and VIPs, ensuring seamless technology experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues across laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Provide empathetic and patient customer service, maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Utilize remote support tools and imaging systems (training provided).
  • Manage and resolve IT service requests using ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
  • Collaborate with a diverse technical team, participating in weekly touchpoints and updates.
  • Demonstrate strong situational awareness, adapting communication style to different audiences.
  • Accept and apply constructive feedback from leadership to continuously improve service delivery.
Top Requirements (Must-Haves):
  • 4 years of experience
  • Proven experience providing white glove support to C-Suite executives and VIPs.
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting skills and technical acumen.
  • A self-starter with initiative and accountability.
  • Experience with IT asset management and procurement workflows.
  • Familiarity with enterprise imaging tools and remote desktop support.
  • Prior use of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Worked with a team size of 10 and able to navigate different personalities
