Akkodis is seeking a Modeller for a Contract job with a client in Las Vegas, NV. You will design and implement complex data models across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring scalable and efficient data architecture.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $51.00 per hour

Modeller job responsibilities include:
- Design and implement complex data models (100+ entities/tables) across cloud and on-prem environments using tools like Erwin or ER/Studio.
- Develop data warehouse solutions using methodologies such as Data Vault 2.0, Bill Inmon, and Ralph Kimball.
- Work with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, and Big Data tools such as Hive, Trino, and S3.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, DBAs, and data governance teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data quality and governance by implementing standards for data profiling, lineage, dictionary, and mapping.
- Analyze business requirements and logical specifications to create normalized, denormalized, and dimensional data models.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in data modeling and data analysis.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Data Vault 2.0 modeling techniques.
- Proven expertise in working with Big Data tools such as Hive, Trino, and S3, and designing complex data models in both cloud and on-prem environments.
