Job description:

Client is seeking a AWS Databricks Consultant with experience working in a Big Data ecosystem. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, schedule, and manage project resources effectively. Proficient in managing timelines and coordinating multiple communication initiatives simultaneously.
• Data Analysis Proficiency: Skilled in analyzing data using tools like SQL and Python. Capable of assessing communication needs and evaluating the effectiveness of communication strategies
• Technical Knowledge in Business Intelligence: Understanding of Business Intelligence concepts and techniques.
• Communication Skills: Capable of conveying technical information clearly to stakeholders.
• Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead teams and foster collaboration.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile practices for managing projects.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong aptitude for identifying issues and generating solutions.
