KX Technologies is seeking a Process Engineering Intern to assist the Research and Development Team with projects and tasks associated with the development of new and existing water filtration products. The intern will work on projects designed to help gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently and as part of a team.

KX Technologies is seeking a Process Engineering Intern to assist the Research and Development Team with projects and tasks associated with the development of new and existing water filtration products. The intern will work on projects designed to help gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Execute a project to improve efficiency of an existing manufacturing process
- Assist with various experiments involving process development, equipment design, and filter formulation
- Analyze, interpret, and visualize large quantities of process parameter data to drive future development
- Maintain detailed records of all experiments
- Assist the R&D team as required
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Understanding of heat transfer principles
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and use analytical skills to solve problems
- Experience with PLCs and control systems a plus
- Experience with Python, machine learning, and AI a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on occasion
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering program with two or more years completed
