Overview:
We are seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the development, integration, and analysis of Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) simulations using the AFSIM platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute BMC2-focused simulations in AFSIM.
- Integrate operational scenarios, platforms, and sensors into simulation environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, platform, infrastructure, and test engineers to ensure simulation fidelity.
- Support verification and validation of BMC2 systems within a simulated environment.
- Maintain documentation of simulation configurations, procedures, and results.
Required Qualifications (must-have):
- Direct, hands-on experience with AFSIM including scripting, modeling, and behavior development.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Strong understanding of BMC2 systems and operational concepts.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed simulations.
- Experience running and analyzing campaign and/or theater-level simulations.
- Strong understanding of CONOPS, mission analysis, and tactics development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- ship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
