Job Details
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Administrator. This is a full-time permanent hire onsite/hybrid role in Raleigh, North Carolina with our client. In this role as a ServiceNow Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, administering, and supporting ServiceNow platform and other like platforms, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively meets the organization s needs. You will work closely with IT service management, operations teams, and other stakeholders to enhance and maintain our applications and system, improve workflow automation, and support the organization s digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities for a ServiceNow Administrator:
- Manage day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user accounts, roles, access controls, and licensing
- Perform regular maintenance and health checks to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor system stability, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Support and administer ServiceNow or any enterprise ITSM, CSM and FSM package software
- Be the key touch point and liaison between the business and IT for ServiceNow platform
- Work on payment system and payment devices
- Configure ServiceNow applications to meet business needs, including Incident, Change, and Request Management modules
- Design and implement workflows, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, and other customizations
- Manage integrations with third-party applications and tools via APIs and integration hubs
- Service Catalog and Request Management:
- Develop and maintain the Service Catalog and Service Portal, including items, forms, and workflows
- Create and manage custom reports, dashboards, and performance analytics to support decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the platform
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to optimize IT Service Management (ITSM) workflows
- Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with issues and troubleshooting
- Develop and deliver training materials, documentation, and user guides
Required Skills as a ServiceNow Administrator:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices
- ServiceNow Administrator Certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Extensive problem-solving ability & technical knowledge in retail technology
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to multitask and balance several competing priorities
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends and holidays
