Role Summary
A mid to senior-level Oracle SOA Suite developer is responsible for delivering technical support and development for Oracle SOA Suite applications and interfaces. This role involves collaborating with business users and team members to ensure seamless system integration, supporting ongoing service delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position requires minimal supervision, with a focus on maintaining system integrity and implementing technical solutions efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and maintain Oracle SOA Suite 12c applications and custom interfaces using Java (SpringBoot/Spring MVC).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical specifications.
- Execute change management processes and adhere to SOX control requirements, ensuring compliance throughout project lifecycles.
- Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and administering Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware environments.
- Design and develop SOA composites utilizing BPEL orchestration and activities to automate processes seamlessly.
- Implement and manage web services, including SOAP and REST-based interfaces, ensuring high availability and security.
- Assist in configuring and supporting OSB proxies, pipelines, and transformations according to business needs.
- Perform system analysis using XML, JSON, XSLT, and related schema technologies to ensure data integrity and proper data transformation.
- Contribute to project management activities utilizing Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban for iterative delivery.
- Support database integrations with Oracle and SQLServer, optimizing query performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Oracle SOA Suite 12c (12.2.1.4).
- At least 5 years of development experience in Java and JEE environments.
- Proven expertise with SOA Suite JCA Adapters including AQ, FTP, File, DB, and Oracle Applications Adapters.
- Experience developing Oracle Service Bus (OSB) proxies, pipelines, and transformations, with a focus on security implementations.
- Strong background in BPEL-based SOA composite development and orchestration.
- Proficiency with XML, JSON, XML Schemas, XQuery, and XSLT for data processing and transformation.
- Hands-on experience creating and consuming SOAP and RESTful WebServices.
- Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Scheduler (ESS) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database; SQLServer database experience is desirable.
- Exposure to Agile development practices, including SCRUM and Kanban.
Publishing Pay Range: $70.00 - $75.00 Hourly
