Location: REMOTE

Duration: 9+ Months with but could go longer or convert to FTE

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Mergers & Acquisition, who has led deals from initial due diligence through post-integration. This role is critical in owning and optimizing the entire M&A lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on cross-functional integration, program management governance, documentation, and process improvement. The ideal candidate brings a technical background, thrives in both strategic and tactical environments, and can help scale our M&A operations with precision and insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • End- to End M&A lifecycle Management: Lead M&A processes from sourcing and evaluating targets to due diligence, deal structuring, closing, and integration.
  • Cross-Functional Integration Leadership: Drive seamless integration efforts across departments (e.g., product, engineering, finance, HR, legal), ensuring operational alignment and business continuity post-close.
  • Pipeline Development: Maintain and evolve the M&A pipeline by identifying and assessing new acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
  • Documentation & Process Management: Own the creation, management, and updating of all M&A-related documentation including diligence trackers, integration plans, risk assessments, and playbooks.
  • Technical Diligence: Leverage technical expertise to evaluate product and platform fit, tech stack compatibility, and scalability considerations during diligence.
  • Post-Merger Optimization: Monitor integration performance, identify gaps or risks, and drive continuous improvement in post-acquisition outcomes.
  • Survey & Feedback Loops: Leverage internal surveys or feedback mechanisms to inform integration strategy and uncover new growth or optimization opportunities.
  • Strategic Product Integration: Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align acquired technologies and products with our broader roadmap.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and optimize M&A processes to ensure speed, rigor, and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • 5 8+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or strategy roles with a proven track record of leading end-to-end deal processes.
  • Experience managing post-merger integrations, especially in cross-functional and technical environments.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing detailed integration plans.
  • Background in or strong understanding of technology products and platforms; technical degree or hands-on technical experience is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of M&A documentation and workflow management tools.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills able to influence and drive alignment cross-functionally at all levels of the organization.
