BI Lead - Qlik Sense / Power BI

Job Title: BI Lead Pharma Data & Analytics
Location: Plainsboro, NJ (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic BI Lead to lead the design, development, and optimization of data and analytics platforms for a leading pharmaceutical company. This role is ideal for a leader who brings both deep technical expertise and a consultative mindset to partner with business stakeholders and drive value through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and high-performance BI and analytics solutions using Tableau, Qlik Sense/View and Power BI solutions.
• Knowledgeable in Snowflake, Informatica (PowerCenter & IICS), and modern visualization platforms
• Lead data modeling efforts, focusing on dimensional models, facts, and dimensions to support actionable analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to translate use cases into end-to-end BI solutions that generate measurable impact
• Serve as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, offering thought leadership on leveraging data to drive business outcomes
• Guide and mentor data engineering and BI teams on solution architecture and best practices
• Ensure data governance, quality, and performance optimization across the analytics stack
• Work hands-on when needed to deliver critical solution components and accelerate time to value
• Create architectural documentation, solution charters, and technical roadmaps
• Present complex data concepts in clear, compelling narratives tailored to technical and executive audiences

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (Tableau, Qlik Sense/View and Power BI), Data Engineering, or Data Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake optimization, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and IICS
• Expertise in SQL and Snowflake
• Experience working with pharma industry datasets such as IQVIA, Komodo, and VEEVA
• Proven ability to work across business and technical teams to drive analytics adoption
• Strong consultative approach ability to frame problems, influence decisions, and lead value-focused discussions
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and lead from the front
• Solid understanding of data governance and security frameworks in the pharma domain

Key Expectations:

• Must have good proficiency in BI tools like Tableau, Qlik Sense/View and Power BI
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with pharma commercial data sources and analytics use cases
• Strong consultative and stakeholder partnership skills to align business goals with BI strategy
• Knowledge in Informatica (IICS & PowerCenter) and Snowflake
• Onsite availability at Plainsboro, NJ 3 days per week
